Pegasus Bloodstock Limited Partnerships is led by a management team combining commercial experience, financial expertise and hands-on knowledge of the thoroughbred industry.
Our leadership is supported by specialist bloodstock, veterinary and professional advisers, bringing together the expertise required to assess opportunities, manage equine assets and support disciplined commercial decision-making.
The team’s approach is grounded in industry experience, professional oversight and long-term participation in the New Zealand and international thoroughbred markets.

Founding Partner
Sir Owen Glenn KNZM
Sir Owen Glenn KNZM is a New Zealand entrepreneur, philanthropist and long-standing thoroughbred owner and breeder.
He founded OTS Logistics Group and built an international career in the logistics industry before expanding his interests into a range of business, philanthropic and sporting activities.
Sir Owen has been involved in thoroughbred racing and breeding since 2000 and has maintained bloodstock interests across New Zealand, Australia and other major international racing markets.
His racing interests have included Criterion, a multiple Group 1 winner who competed at the highest level in Australia and internationally. Criterion completed a 36-start career with seven wins and career earnings exceeding AUD $7 million.
With more than two decades of involvement in the thoroughbred industry, Sir Owen brings Pegasus extensive experience in ownership, breeding, racing and bloodstock development, together with a strong commercial perspective on long-term business strategy and international market opportunities.
Managing Partner & Founding Partner
Alan Fu
Alan Fu is the Managing Partner and a founding partner of Pegasus Bloodstock Limited Partnership, with responsibility for the Partnership’s business strategy, bloodstock activities and day-to-day management.
He holds a Bachelor of Business Analysis and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Waikato, with an academic focus in accounting and business management.
Before establishing Pegasus with Sir Owen Glenn, Alan held a senior management role within the equine industry, gaining practical experience across bloodstock operations and developing strong working relationships with trainers, breeders, owners and other industry participants.
Alan combines his financial and commercial background with hands-on bloodstock expertise. His work includes horse selection, valuation, acquisition strategy, auction assessment and ongoing portfolio management.
Over the course of his involvement in the industry, horses selected and managed through his bloodstock activities have achieved significant racing success and prize money. His experience in both racing and trading informs Pegasus’ disciplined approach to acquisition, asset development and commercial decision-making.
Governance Overview
Pegasus combines commercial management with specialist bloodstock input. The governance framework is designed to separate day-to-day management, investor oversight and specialist assessment, helping decisions to be reviewed from operational, commercial and equine perspectives.

General Partner / Management
Limited Partner Advisory Committee
Specialist Investment Committee
The General Partner is responsible for the management and operation of the limited partnership, subject to the partnership agreement and applicable law. Management coordinates investment execution, bloodstock operations, service providers, reporting and day-to-day commercial activities.
The Limited Partner Advisory Committee (LPAC) brings together experienced investors from diverse professional and commercial backgrounds, including finance, technology, corporate management and international investment. Drawing on their broad investment experience and independent perspectives, the LPAC provides investor representation, oversight and consultation, supporting transparent communication, sound governance and the long-term development of Pegasus.
Pegasus’ bloodstock assessment process draws on specialist disciplines such as horse selection, veterinary and diagnostic review, behaviour and welfare assessment, valuation and auction strategy. The purpose is to combine multiple professional perspectives before significant acquisition or management decisions are made.
